การวิเคราะห์หาตะกอนหนัก (Settleable Solids)
ค่า Settleable Solids หมายถึง ค่าตะกอนที่มีขนาดใหญ่และมีความถ่วงจำเพาะสูงกว่าน้ำ ซึ่งตะกอนหนักจะตกตะกอนรวมกันที่ส่วนล่างกรวย โดยอาศัยแรงโน้มถ่วงของโลก วิธีการวัดจะใช้กรวย Imhoff cone ขนาด 1 ลิตร ในการวัด โดยตั้งทิ้งไว้ 1 ชม. เพื่อดูปริมาณตะกอนหนักว่ามีกี่มิลลิกรัมต่อลิตร
